Welcome to the Electric City Animal Clinic website. We know that your pet is a part of your family and we value the trust placed in us to care for them. It is our priority to provide the highest quality care and offer the best possible service to treat each of our patients like our own. We are here to help and are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our clinic specializes in small animals, reptiles, pocket pets, birds, boarding and rehabilitation therapy. Electric City is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Our clinic is our family and our clients are our friends as well as our customers. We look forward to welcoming your family soon.

What To Expect

A visit to Electric City Animal Clinic begins in our cheery reception area. You will be greeted by a friendly receptionist who will collect your new patient information and admit your pet. A veterinary technician will then escort you and your pet to a roomy exam room where a history is taken and vital signs are obtained. A doctor will then examine your pet and answer any questions you may have. If your pet requires hospitalization at the clinic, a treatment plan will be provided to review recommended therapies and associated costs. After your pet’s visit, a technician will escort you to the checkout window where a receptionist will review your invoice and discharge your pet. You will also be able to schedule a re-check or follow up appointment as recommended by the doctor. Please take a business card before you leave and recommend us to others. A referral is the greatest compliment.

What’s New

March is adopt a guinea pig month!  Did you know there are cavy (guinea pig) rescues and they even have adoptable guinea pigs at the local shelter?  Guinea pigs make great pets and can learn tricks and how to walk on a leash.  Do you questions about guinea pig care? We’ll be happy to help.
Did you know Electric City Animal Clinic was founded in 1972?  Drs. Tope and Bushwack are happy to be celebrating their 12th year at ECAC.  Check out our timeline on the “about us” page and you can see all of the changes that ECAC has been through in the past 42 years and the legacy it is leaving in the beautiful community of Anderson, SC.
Follow us on Pinterest! We have a board for everyone to enjoy including client education, equine, dog, cat and exotic pets!  We’d also love for you to join us on facebook.  It’s a great place to keep up with the day to day events at the clinic and get a sneak peek behind the scenes at the normal and not so normal patients we encounter.
