Internal Medicine
Complete diagnostic testing is available right here at Electric City. We provide in house labwork and the most advanced computerized digital radiographs. You will receive a copy of all of your pet’s results during your visit including a cd of your pet’s x-rays. We also utilize a superior outside laboratory if necessary to further help your pet.
Rehabilitation
We specialize in Canine Rehabilitation for pre and post op orthopedic surgeries, geriatrics, weight loss and canine athletes. We provide exercise programs and modalities such as cold laser and therapeutic ultrasound. Dr. Tope is a certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist and Jackie is working towards her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Assistant.
Surgery
Our clinic performs extensive soft tissue surgeries and select orthopedic surgeries. To provide the best medicine and the safest quality, physical exams and pre-anesthetic laboratory screenings are performed on every pet. Patients are monitored by trained technical staff from start to finish. All patients receive state of the art care including warming blankets, IV fluids, blood pressure and pulse oximetry supervision as well as EKG heart monitoring.
Dentistry
Electric City provides cutting edge pet dentistry. Each prophylactic dental cleaning includes computerized digital radiographs as well as ultrasonic scaling and polishing. Dr. Herold has completed additional training in advanced dental care, ensuring your pet will benefit from the most up-to-date techniques available for your pet’s dental care. We carry a full line of home dental products to help you maintain your pet’s healthy teeth.
Exotic Animal Care
If you have an unusual pet, Electric City is the clinic for you. In addition to small animals, we also see exotics such as rodents, birds and reptiles. We provide medical, dietary and husbandry advice so that your feathered or scaly pet will live a full and healthy life.
Immunizations & Wellness Care
Preventative care is very important to your pet’s health no matter what age. We provide wellness programs for every stage of your pet’s life. These include comprehensive physical exams, internal parasite exams, heartworm or feline leukemia testing, heartworm and flea control, spay and neuter packages, labwork and vaccines. Keeping your pet healthy is our goal.
House Calls
We’ll come to you! If you are unable to bring your pet to our clinic let us know. Dr. Tope and a technician will meet at your residence to provide services for your pet in the comfort of your own home.
Boarding
The staff at Electric City takes pride in providing boarding services for your pet. You can rest easy knowing that your pet is in caring hands while you are away. Pets are walked 3-4 times daily in our fenced yard and are often spotted hanging out with our receptionists greeting our daily patients. We encourage you to bring your pet’s food, toys and bedding to provide a more comfortable stay. Don’t forget we can also provide full veterinary services for your pet while they stay with us.
